Payment Methods

The University of Lincoln has various methods of accepting payments and are continually looking at new forms of payment acceptance. The most desirable way to make payments is dependent on the type of student you are and what you’re paying for; i.e. students from outside the UK are encouraged to to pay fees by bank transfer as this is the most cost efficient way of sending us international payments.

Please refer to any correspondence you may have received in relation to Tuition Fees for the amount you will be expected to pay.

In Person with Staff

For all student account payments (tuition/accommodation/library fines), you can head up to the Finance Department (Third Floor, Minerva Building) where a member of the Finance Team will support you in your payment via card (MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, Visa Credit, Visa Debit and Visa Electron cards are accepted), cash, cheques and banker’s drafts.

Payments by cheque/banker’s drafts must be in Sterling and made payable to “University of Lincoln”.
On the reverse of the cheque please print your Student ID, name and address.

Please note, payment by cash should only be used when no other option is available to you. We strongly discourage the use of cash when paying tuition and accommodation fees for security reasons, we advise all students not to
carry high value sums of cash unless absolutely necessary.

Please do not send cash through the post under any circumstances.
